The perfect Woman

‘This post is a part of Write Over the Weekend, an initiative for Indian Bloggers by BlogAdda.’

Perfection is a perception. For me perfection does not have any defined dimension- She has a golden heart, she carries a diamond personality, she wears wisdom, she smiles just on the perfect line. Her dance moves could not be more adept, 'Oh laila' how could she have such a face, perfectly contoured features, she walks like a gypsy,  she wakes up in perfect poise, even in her lowest mood swings she disperses superlative lingo , her hair stretches in perfect streak at the middle of the night when she turns the other side, she gets off the crowded bus with her eyes radiating sparkle, the symmetry of her kohl rimmed liner stands perfectly in cycle, just "1-inch" below her eye balls  though there had been a few pushes, kick stick movements with fellow passengers while returning back from office. Her Boss would never look at her with his curved eyebrows, he knew she could move mountains perfectly( clients were just mere mortals)

The home  front-It is an  epitome of a perfectly piled up living and non living  species.  She opens the door, she had tucked the clothes in symmetry perfectly buried at the right hand corner of the left hand side of the drawer, none had moved a bit from their lined up position, the books looked at each other from their spacious corridors inside the book shelf, they had a 2 -inch distance amid themselves, they too were perfect in their task of maintaining a perfect decorum. The kitchen was another place- may be it exhibited Godly attributes.

Knock at the door, the kids were home, two little monsters “oops” two perfectly trained little super kids. They came, they conquered the cupboard, the clothes still remain at their perfect settings, the kids know exactly where to find the clothes, the shirt aligned to the right side rests in stoic discipline long after the kids had gone, kids had their meals ‘perfectly’ rejoicing the mother’s recipe “karela “ “ lauki” singing sweet nothings about the health benefits of “karela and lauki”.

Buz, huzz, tuzz, reversed gear, blah blah blah, abra ka dabra... perfection turned upside down, whizzed, sizzed, hush hop, oohlala...I stand there ....perfectly  berserk, ransacked territory on the upper shelves of my head, just below the eyes had kohl rimmed eyelashes, black patches running towards the nose, the kurta was blue, the kurta had been looking for a perfect match but the trouser always betrayed her spirits, yes they were 'blue'. The perfect blend ;)

The metro ride was as heavenly, the pigs even spoke in a better pitch, back home, the house was delighted as ever to find its master who  lost  her way every day just like her clothes , they  yearned to be in perfect alignment with colours or even pairs, lost in the rumble, in their crazy delight they were “perfect”.  Books, they too enjoyed every bit of their romance with playmates, caressing the other pages, sitting over, hugging, indulging here and there free as a "free soul". This was my house.

I suddenly look at the mirror, I seek perfection but I smile, I laugh, I scream, I fondle my hair and there I say " I still am perfect”.
 "I love it that way,  I make blunders, I make errors, I scream, I dream, I yell, I shout, I lose, I win, I live,yes I live".

“I am perfect to me “ The mirror yells too "The perfect Woman"

Extra smiles comes in " Premium Pants" now

This Post is written for the Pampers#SoftestforBabySkin organised by  Blogadda.

The baby wanders around with his smile, his feet chasing those toys. I look back at him, console myself, smile back and then start off with my day. My smile has a unique sense of relief, of comfort, of peace. Thanks to Pampers premium care Pants. The baby is all in safe hands.

This is because I had this great opportunity to be a part of the launch  as a Parenting Blogger.
I was super excited to be a part of the launch event.
The launch event was organised by Blogadda

Had my excitement quotient a bit high as I was going to be a part of the  the prestigious launch, what more did I desire as a Mommy Blogger.

What I looked for as Mommy
What I looked for as a Parenting Blogger

As a mother all I was looking for is something different from the mundane, from the ordinary, from the routies. Something which every Mom desires for her baby, the best, the best from the rest.  For me my baby’s comfort is the most important aspect of my motherhood.  At the end of the day as a mother I  try to seek those little things which makes my baby smile, be happy, sing a tune and  eradicate what exactly makes her pale, sad or kindles her annoying spirits.

There were bad days of rashes, but with the launch of the product and and preview of "Pampers Premium Care Pants"I really could see my daughter smiling and wandering around freely, sleeping with angles and waking up with fairies.

Why is softness and dryness an important aspect in skin health among babies?

Skin health among infants is considered as  an important aspect in baby health & hygiene.Soft and dry diaper accentuates overall development and growth in a baby. A happy baby has a thousand smiling moments. A happy skin creates a smart child.

Ajita Seethapalli said – “The importance of a good diaper (in terms of softness, dryness and fit) should not be underestimated. Babies have to be physically interacting with their environment in order to learn and understand it. Diapering baby in soft and dry pants like pampers premium care can be a great way to help enable uninstructed exploration, giving him the giggling feeling of freedom you both love”

The Pampers panel and their expert researchers demonstrated with an experiment showcasing  Pampers Premium Care Pants as one of those joy kits which promised soft touch better and in a smarter way.

Tara  Sharma and Mandira Bedi shared their experiences as mother's, the challenges they faced and how Premium Soft and dry Pampers helped them to overcome those hurdles.

My "pampering" moment

Ajita Seethapalli narrated how softness played a major role in baby’s over all development by creating a perfect environment for sleep. A baby undoubtedly performs better if he or she feels a senses of dryness, his overall activities narrates a better performance in every sphere.

A happy baby has a better mental, cognitive and physical growth than a restless and cranky baby.

Scientist & R& D expert Dr Wising Long promised that these premium care pants promised 12 hours dryness by an experiment indicating colour change.

The event concluded with great applause and cheerful faces. As a mother I could not hold on to my happiness when I was presented with the unique kit which had these miracle wonders.

The  launch  event and the preview of Pampers premium care pants  soaked away all my worries , absorbed my irritation with the magic spell of smoothness and softness ...it surely would make our bond more stronger.

Thanks for a wonderful evening. "Pampers" pamper Mommies too

A bit of Pampering makes a whole lot of difference!

  1. This blogpost is written for the Pampers #SoftestForBabySkin activity in association with BlogAdda”

Happiness is a relative thing. Each human has his or her own set of happiness. But there is no denying the fact that a Mom’s happiness is rightly proportional to her child’s well being. A happy child makes a happy Mom.

And what makes a happy child.... caring touch, soft embrace, a gentle hug and a lot of “pampering” . "Pamper me Mom"....and Mom replies back “I would love to my Honey Buny”

I was among the lucky few who got an invite for the launch of “New Pampers Premium Care Pants” –Softest Diapers Pants ever, Soft as Mother’s Touch #softestforbabyskin

Venue-New Delhi

Mummy's care, Pampers underwear

As a mother of a child, my greatest concern and challenge was to see my baby happy, free and cheerful all the time. Yes, for a while, for some time and for a few hours there were moments of freedom and relief but I wasn’t sure if my baby could hold to that happiness for a long time.

As human's we crave  for  freedom and specially  babies demand an extra serving. As a mother I was always apprehensive “Oh, hope she does not do it again” “Ok just now she did ... I guess now I can be free and she too” but checking every 10 minutes if everything was fine was my ordeal. Well, is this freedom or a free living:)?

It was on 22nd September I was invited to the event and an exclusive preview organised by Blogadda #Pampers the no 1 diaper brand in the world presented a unique collection of New Pampers premium Care Pants.  There was live demonstration which surely caught my fancy and enthralled me to use it on my baby. As a mother I am always on a look out for something better, something best for my little one.
While selecting those tiny little pants the two things which crosses my mind are “Hope it would treat my babies’ skin softly” and “Well this time let the dryness rule for some more hours”

There were panel of experts who explained to us about the brand. Among them Tara Sharma and Mandira Bedi poured in their experiences and anecdotes. Baby sleep consultant Ajita Seethepalli narrated about the importance of  dryness and softness in the life of a baby. She said “Diapering baby in soft and dry pants like Pampers Premium Care can be a great way to help enable undistracted exploration.”

Scientist R&D expert Dr WeiSing Long highlighted the unique attribute of Premium Care Pants. It has the 5-star skin protection which  treats baby skin in the most precious way. This soft little bundle of joys have these special attributes-

  • 5-Star Skin protection promises to  twinkle your star with happiness.

    Softness as body guard

With the goodness of Baby Lotion

So, for all those Mommies who are still struggling with the best lullaby...now it’s time to switch on to the other side...yes the lullaby rings a sweet tune but does the baby have a sweet feeling internally.
Happy Lullaby and happy pampering to all those mommies and babies...Dry nights are all about sweet dreams for both.

“Never get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life.”

I am participating in the ‘Ready For Rewards’ activity for Rewardme in association with BlogAdda.” Inspired by the blog" 8 ways to a work life balance". I took this challenge https://www.rewardme.in/family/child-and-you/article/8-ways-to-a-work-life-balance

I have started collecting treasures each day. Time saved-Treasure collected. Till I grow old  I would be a rich man with all those treasures tucked safe inside my heart. And it would be a bank of "Treasured Moments."

Time Management-Time Collected

“Never get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life.”

This  fits in perfectly with the life which we are living today. The mad rush, the crumble, the rush, the fleeting moments keep us on toe and time passes by underneath. But amidst the chaos haven’t we all hurled our  breathe to say “Am I actually living?”

As a family we live together but do we spend time laughing with our loved ones reminiscing events, do we actually speak about ourselves, have we spoken about anything since last few days, did we even walk together towards the beach during the sun set which was a delight when we had all the time in the world. No we had bought "Our Dream" house, we had the best of teak wood furnitures, we also had a balcony looking beyond the  green fantasies, but actually have we lived   those moments which we had bought. Or are we just spending huge amounts, paying EMI’s and counting breathe.
Family Time-Extra life span

I started sketching  my life and nowhere could I plant "Time". I had not looked at  myself, my declining health, my eroding timeline and my sinking life style(life style is quality of life here)

Time is life-Time is money-Investing in good health/ family/Hobby/Passion is saving wealth. .

That day I was reading this Blog on Blog Adda.It caught my fancy, taught a few tricks which could actually make life better, enjoy sunsets, go on fishing, laugh without a reason and enjoy “Pakoda’s” with my family. It's true we have our own explanations but each one of us can have at least some hours saved. A bit of planning and  “Time Management” is what  the Author emphasis on. Different smart ways to engage time and  use it in a better way.

Allotment of time- That surely was missing in my diary. The best time to work and attend emails was 8-11 am and I have started engaging that time efficiently. Now I have mid hour breaks where in I handle a few of those miscellaneous work. While I don’t waste golden hours, I actually save them for later usage.

Turning on my concentration and turning off from social media- In this Blog a very important concern has been raised and the perfect way to overcome it.  I try to turn off notifications during work hours. I have started doing it thrice a week.  I  hold  my phone at a special time and at  a specified hour. I remind myself of the duration which I would spend in checking. I have started with the first step at least.

At home – My time is “our time” and “me time”–I have started surfing less of T.V., switching off to a silent mode(phone) while we eat together in our dining table, I make sure to have at least a cup of tea in that beautiful balcony (I realized the view was awesome beyond )with my family members. I also chat while I pour milk and  make the evening tea.

Thereafter I spend an hour with my daughter helping her with her studies, we have also started reading 3 pages everyday from a story book. I have seen a sudden rush of glow  while I sit beside her, it’s priceless.
By product of Time Management

And before I sleep I am left with some time. That’s “me” time. We all need some moments to ourselves as human beings, to think, to rejuvenate, to contemplate and to bring the best from within. To gather the strength to hold on to another dawn, to bounce back and feel the positive vibes internally. I meditate for 15 minutes and then hold on to a fresh lease of life, debugging the clutter. Another day, another beginning.

Time Saved-Finding Myself

I live in moments, I treasure those  “best moments” which I was able to spend with myself, my family and nature. It is but natural to be bowed down by  innumerable chains which life thrusts  upon us everyday but amidst all, a few moments can be lived.

It's  all about collecting moments in a smarter way and managing  it in a more better  way . So think what actually is the need, understand your inner desires, cravings, your necessities, thereafter the goals can be set. There is no end to desires of mind but there is an expiry date to your life, to your health, to your loved ones and to all those "Happiness"

Mummy pours love on me!!

When I brought her home for the first time, I knew not how I would handle my bundle of joy. She smiled at me, I smiled back. As if her smile asked me “Mom, would you  take care of me?” I replied “yes, love, I would.....  all throughout  my life.” Thus the story begins.

My 1st challenge was the very fact that I was unsure of my ability to hold her, she was like flock of feather. Every time I touched her, there was a shiver in my body “Was I touching her properly, hope my nails doesn't prick her,  pray my clasp isn't too much harsh on her skin.

Mummy knows it best

Then the 2nd challenge was  taking her to that little tub filled with  shimmering liquid, I made sure to pour in all the softness wrapped in  love. But just before that I put on a confident smile, my hands eager to take a modest portion of Dabur baby massage oil into my palm, gently rub it  stroking softly and then it was into her soft skin. Every drop infused into her skin, her breathe, her tiny arms, feet, chest, the tummy and her face. She glowed, she smiled, she laughed, she giggled, every pore breathed life, every part of her body sparkled with glow. I was relieved, I was at peace.

Mummy pours love
